Checking Side Housings

This video will demonstrate how to properly examine side housings, also known as plates, to see if they are reusable. There are some pretty obvious observations that will make the plates not usable, we at the shop call extremely damaged units, “Boat Anchors!” However, there is some not so obvious places to look when determining whether or not to reuse your side housings. Sometimes you have to have some exact measurement devices as shown in the video to accurately see if the plate is reusable.
